In-Town

Waltham Youth Soccer has an In-Town Program for youth 6 to under 10 years of age. This program is a “Two Season”, Fall and Spring program, based on age, coaches evaluations, and input from the WYS Board of Directors for determining teams. These teams practice once a week and play their games on Saturday’s. Games are played on field turf at Veterans Field located on Forest Street. Parents are encouraged to get involved with the In-Town Program by volunteering to become a “Team Parent Manager” to assist the coaches with team duties. Coaches in this program are volunteers ranging from high school students who have either played soccer in the WYS program or are currently playing on a high school team, to adults of children in the program playing on In-Town teams. All coaches are encouraged to attend coach’s clinics offered by WYS during the course of both Fall and Spring Seasons and take the MA Youth Soccer G-License Course offered either on line or held at a designated location.
