I personally with our Board of Directors would like to take a moment and acknowledge everyone who ran in the Boston Marathon. We know there were several of you out there that day. We also want to acknowledge all of our Police Officers, Firefighters, Ems, 911 dispatchers, Nurses and anyone else involved in those few days of unstable conflict. THANK YOU. I know there are several of you in our soccer family.

Being a proud retired Firefighter myself I can attest to the stress of the job and glad everyone, Police, Fire and Ems, and all our runners are home and safe.

Waltham Youth Soccer will send 4 players to Lady Hawks Soccer School this summer at no cost to the players. To be considered for one of these slots, simply fill out a raffle ticket attached to the flyer which will be distributed at next week’s practices. The raffle ticket needs to be returned to the concession stand at Vets field no later than MAY 11, 2013. We will draw 4 names and notify the winners via phone call.
The dates for the soccer school are — June 25 thru June 28 from 9 am to 12 pm.

Please note this soccer school is for female players only.

Due to their close links to Sandy Hook School, Quinnipiac Soccer will be auctioning off #26 shirts donated by soccer teams from around the world to raise money for a scholarship fund in memory of Rachel Marie D’Avino.

Rachel was one of the 26 victims of the tragic shooting that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. on December 14, 2012.

To date the soccer community has committed over 100 shirts to the auction including signed shirts from Lionel Messi, Tottenham Hotspur, Celtic, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and the US Men’s and Women’s National Teams.

The proceeds of the auction will be used to establish a scholarship fund in memory of the 20 students and six teachers who died at Sandy Hook and will be dedicated in honor of Rachel.

MPS Complete 2013 Vacation Program Schedule

Mass Premier Soccer are delighted to be able to announce our complete 2013 Vacation Program Schedule.

Featuring professionally developed age-appropriate soccer curriculum, MPS Vacation Programs will be held during the months of February, April, June, July and August.

The Spring season is fast approaching and why not add to pre-season preparations by joining MPS at one of the several different locations around Massachusetts. We will be providing four different programs at each location, 1st Touch (U5), Kick Start (U7), Half Day and Full Day (U7-14) which will provide the ideal program for every participant from beginners all the way through to elite level.

Currently in its tenth year of operation, The Lady Eagles Soccer School provides girls-only soccer programs at Boston College. The camps and clinics on offer range from youth development camps for players as young as six years old all the way to high school team preparation clinics. Each of the programs is specifically designed to develop the player in a fun environment. Our experienced staff made of college coaches offer great insight into the game and former and current college players act as counselors who are excellent role models for the campers.
