Waltham Youth Soccer will send 4 players to Lady Hawks Soccer School this summer at no cost to the players. To be considered for one of these slots, simply fill out a raffle ticket attached to the flyer which will be distributed at next week’s practices. The raffle ticket needs to be returned to the concession stand at Vets field no later than MAY 11, 2013. We will draw 4 names and notify the winners via phone call.
The dates for the soccer school are — June 25 thru June 28 from 9 am to 12 pm.

MPS Complete 2013 Vacation Program Schedule

Mass Premier Soccer are delighted to be able to announce our complete 2013 Vacation Program Schedule.

Featuring professionally developed age-appropriate soccer curriculum, MPS Vacation Programs will be held during the months of February, April, June, July and August.

The Spring season is fast approaching and why not add to pre-season preparations by joining MPS at one of the several different locations around Massachusetts. We will be providing four different programs at each location, 1st Touch (U5), Kick Start (U7), Half Day and Full Day (U7-14) which will provide the ideal program for every participant from beginners all the way through to elite level.

Currently in its tenth year of operation, The Lady Eagles Soccer School provides girls-only soccer programs at Boston College. The camps and clinics on offer range from youth development camps for players as young as six years old all the way to high school team preparation clinics. Each of the programs is specifically designed to develop the player in a fun environment. Our experienced staff made of college coaches offer great insight into the game and former and current college players act as counselors who are excellent role models for the campers.

This unique program, created in conjunction with Taylor Twellman and the Revolution Academy, covers areas that made Taylor Twellman the leading goal scorer in Revolution history, including: finishing in the final third, attacking heading, volleys and half volleys, movement off the ball, 1v1 moves, exploding into space and creativity and vision around the goal.

WHEN ARE THE CENTERS RUN?     Most of the Centers will begin the week of January 6th and will TEN (10) weeks (excluding school vacation week).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?     Enrollment in a 2013 Technical Development Center will cost $140.00 per player for all TEN (10)weeks. Once the sessions begin, there will be no refunds.

                              Cancellations by November 30^th, full refund
Cancellations by December 14^th, 50% refund
Cancellations made on or after December 15^th, all payments will be non-refundable.

WHAT WILL WE WORK ON? The Centers are designed to help players focus on and improve all of their technical skills. Players will work on individual development including ball manipulation, ball mastery and individual attacking and how and when to use them in game situations. Each session will consist of 40 minutes of skill acquisition and 20 minutes of small sided games in which to practice the “Technique of the Day”.

WHO ARE THE COACHES? Massachusetts Youth Soccer State Staff Coaches, Development Coaches, Instructional Staff Coaches and ODP Staff Coaches all under the direction of Ian Mulliner, Massachusetts Youth Soccer’s Technical Director, will be conducting the sessions.

Mass Premier Soccer is offering a couple of 1 day clinics on Tuesday November 6th and Monday November 12th.   Many schools are off for these days and we have set up clinics at 4 different venues.

This is the MPS Champions League, the newest program for 1st and 2nd grade children! Using the basis of the MPS JSOE the new Champions League will put your child in a learning environment that is not only fun and competitive, it will give them an opportunity to emulate their soccer idols. Playing for teams like Barcelona, Manchester United, Roma and Chelsea your child will play in a program that matches the FUNdamentals of soccer in a fun tournament style curriculum which focuses on playing the game the enjoyable way from a young age!
